Our Founding Story

They saw the system wasn’t built for everyone so they decided to change it.

As an immigrant new to the U.S. and a student finishing school, Cynthia Chen and Christophe Chong had one thing in common, they had to build credit from the ground up. What started as a simple solution quickly uncovered a bigger issue: millions were locked out of financial opportunities, whether they were first-time builders or rebuilding after setbacks.

They saw the system wasn’t built for everyone, so they decided to change it. With a deep belief that financial progress should be within reach for all, they’ve been creating smarter, more accessible tools to help people take control of their financial futures, no matter where they started.
